A casual memorial was held Saturday, February 9, 2018, at 1pm, beginning with a simple service for Elaine, with food and drink that followed — Cocktails, Chicken Salad, and Coca-Cola, were served until 4pm.

We want to thank you all for the outpouring of support for us throughout the week. As we prepared to share stories and love with you all, here were the details:

  1. We had a memorial service, of sorts, at 1pm — it lasted for about 45 minutes.

  2. The venue is adjacent to the restaurants Lunch/Supper at Urban Roost Event space

    1. 3023 W. Marshall St, Richmond, VA 23230 — and the entrance is on Marshall Street

    2. Parking is on the street in the surrounding area, but was plentiful at that time.

    3. We were NOT at the Urban Farmhouse, a similarly-named coffeeshop in the area

  3. Dress comfortably — Elaine would dress up, but you don’t have to.

  4. Beverages were available a few minutes before the service and immediately following, at which time food was also offered.

  5. Kids were welcome, we love kids.

  6. We had a memorable day and hope you liked the chicken salad as much as Elaine!
